About
Georgia Memory Net, part of Emory Healthcare, is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. They asked us to create an animated film that would help engage and educate primary care providers and their patients by visualizing diagnosis tools, treatment pathways, and long-term support options for those navigating this sensitive journey.

Our Approach
This project required a careful balance of clarity and compassion. The subject matter is deeply personal for the patients and families it touches, so every creative decision was made with sensitivity in mind. We developed original character designs that feel warm and relatable, placing them in familiar domestic environments like kitchens and living rooms to ground the story in everyday life.
The visual language uses soft color palettes, gentle motion, and clean compositions to create a sense of calm and reassurance. The animation guides viewers through complex medical information without overwhelming them, using visual metaphors and character-driven narrative to make the content feel accessible and human. Our team worked through extensive mood boarding, storyboarding, and color scripting to make sure the tone stayed consistent from the first frame to the last.
Music and sound design by Justin Keoninh and Zing Audio bring additional warmth and emotional depth, supporting the visuals without competing for attention.
The Result
An animated explainer that treats a difficult subject with the care it deserves. The film helps Georgia Memory Net communicate vital health information in a way that feels supportive rather than clinical, giving providers and patients a tool that educates while offering comfort during an uncertain time.
