Waterford.org's Sing Around the World is a series of songs within their digital, adaptive learning program that teaches literacy skills to young children. Each song focuses on a specific target letter and represents cultures from around the world. They needed illustration and animation to bring each song to life.

Our Approach

We developed a rich, diverse illustration style for the series, with each episode reflecting the culture and geography of the song it accompanies. Our illustration team created characters, environments, and visual details that celebrate the uniqueness of each setting while maintaining a cohesive visual language across the full series.

The animation brings every frame to life with the kind of warmth and energy that keeps young learners engaged. The movement is playful and rhythmic, synced to the music and paced for little attention spans. It's educational content that doesn't feel like it's teaching, which is exactly how the best children's animation works.
