Proteomics

Softly moving gradient spheres merge and float through space, visualizing data coming into focus.

About

A biotech leader asked us to visualize their complex proteomics platform, blending data, AI, and discovery.
Our goal was to make it understandable and engaging, showing how science & storytelling unite.

Turning Deep Science Into a Visual Language

The client’s platform redefines how researchers see and interpret proteins: massive datasets, AI-driven insights, and ultra-high-throughput workflows. Our challenge was to turn all that into an emotional, easy-to-grasp experience that could live anywhere: from trade-show screens to launch decks to social feeds.

Instead Instead of showing literal interfaces or lab scenes, we created a world of abstract systems and textures—signals emerging from noise, data converging into clarity, and light revealing structure. It’s a story of order rising from chaos, told entirely through movement and design.

How We Approached It

We leaned into Fern’s signature mix of analog warmth and digital precision, clean motion, tactile textures, and cinematic pacing. Every transition feels crafted, not coded.

  • - Metaphor first.
  • - Tactile by design.
  • - Made to travel.

Visual Feel & Outcome

It starts in a field of particles — loose, undefined — slowly aligning into purposeful forms. The palette moves from deep indigo and graphite into warm golds and teal highlights — a visual balance between precision and humanity. Nothing literal, nothing branded, yet unmistakably alive.

The finished film gave the client a new way to talk about their technology — visually, emotionally, and clearly. The unedited version, released by the client, has now reached over 33 million views and counting, helping spark awareness and interest across scientific, investor, and industry audiences.
