Our fronds at Asana keep our studio organized on a daily basis, so we were pumped to work on a title sequence and animated event assets for their first Virtual Summit, Asana Scale. The sequence needed to set the emotional tone for the entire event and to visualize how Asana helps teams find clarity in business chaos.

Our Approach

We used 2D animation, rich texture, and a limited, sophisticated color palette to bring ideas like visibility, workflow, alignment, and data protection to life in graphic form. The title sequence is heartfelt and lively, designed to build intrigue and excitement to kick off the event.

Beyond the opening, we brought motion to various storytelling sequences played over video footage and voiceover throughout the summit. Each piece was crafted to maintain interest and translate abstract concepts about collaboration and organizational design into something visually engaging and easy to follow. Custom music and sound design by Zing Audio tied everything together. Asana Scale: Work together. Go anywhere.

The Result

A complete animated event package that gave Asana's Virtual Summit a cohesive visual identity from opening to close. It's a demonstration of how animation and motion design can carry an event's brand, energy, and message across multiple touchpoints.
