We were honored to work once more with the Emerging 100 of Atlanta on their 2021 Virtual Emerging Leaders Awards & Scholarship Gala. The event celebrates deserving students in Atlanta, and the shift to a virtual format meant the animation and design needed to carry the full emotional weight of an experience that would normally happen in a room full of people cheering these students on.

Our Approach

We used a mixed media approach to bring each student's story to life. Working with Zoom footage of the students alongside their personal photos and video, our team created animated sequences that give every honoree a moment to shine. We brought in 3D elements to add visual intrigue and depth, layering them with 2D motion graphics and typography to create something that feels both polished and personal.

Beyond the individual student spotlights, we designed and produced a full graphics package for the virtual event. Lower thirds, transitions, title cards, and interstitial animations all working together to give the gala a cohesive, celebratory look and feel from start to finish.

The Result

The finished event honored every student with the energy and care they deserve, even through a screen. It's a project that means a lot to our studio. Working with organizations like the Emerging 100 of Atlanta reminds us why animation matters: it can make people feel seen, celebrated, and valued in ways that a simple slide or static graphic never could.
